This French single malt whisky from Arlett is a delightful fusion of tradition and innovation. On the nose, it captivates with aromas of sandalwood, peppery spice, and a medley of fresh herbs, complemented by rich notes of toffee and cacao. The palate unfolds a symphony of flavors, showcasing orchard fruit, vanilla, and oak spice, intertwined with hints of pine, peach, and warming cinnamon. Crafted by Distillerie Tessendier, renowned for their exquisite Cognacs, this expression is a testament to their expertise. Aged for three years, half in new American oak and half in bourbon barrels, the two components were then masterfully married and finished in Japanese Mizunara oak casks for an additional year, imparting a unique depth and complexity. The finish lingers, leaving a lasting impression of freshness and refinement.
