Arran 8 Year Old 2013 – Sweetdram is a delightful sherried single malt that delivers an explosion of flavors. Upon nosing, it unveils a delightful medley of dried fruit, complemented by the distillery's signature grassy hint. The palate is a delightful journey through a festive array of flavors, from the sweetness of Golden Grahams and chocolate sauce to the warmth of festive spices and the subtle tang of diced prunes. As you savor the finish, a hint of cigar box salinity emerges, adding depth and complexity to the sherried richness that lingers. This exceptional whisky, independently bottled by Sweetdram, was distilled in 2013 and spent eight years maturing in a first-fill sherry hogshead before being bottled in November 2011, resulting in a limited release of 313 bottles.
