Aultmore 21 Year Old is a delightful Speyside whisky that tantalizes the senses with its inviting aromas and flavors. The nose greets you with a fresh and fruity bouquet reminiscent of ripe peaches, creamy notes, roasted pears, cantaloupe, and dried mango complemented by waxy citrus peels. Floral sweeties, sweet malt, smoked rosemary, and fresh mint leaves add depth and complexity. On the palate, the rosemary returns, intertwined with juicy melons, ripe bananas, mango, olive oil, porridge, and toasted sourdough bread. The finish brings a spicy kick, with aromatic baking spices leading to a lingering peppery hit. This understated gem has been patiently matured for over two decades in refill hogsheads, then bottled at 46% ABV without chill-filtering or added coloring, preserving its natural essence.
