This Bain's Founders Collection is no ordinary whisky. Starting as Bain's Cape Mountain Whisky, it spent 18 long years maturing! First, it aged in American oak for 10 years, then got a unique twist: a 3-year finish in Fino sherry casks. Fino, the driest sherry, brings a nutty character not usually found in grain whisky. Expect golden hues and aromas of almonds, stewed fruit, and a hint of dry sherry. The taste is a dance of floral and fruity notes, balanced with roasted nuts and warm spice, ending in a rich, sweet finish. It's a truly special dram.
