Benchmark Small Batch is a Kentucky Straight Bourbon that doesn't try to be fancy, but delivers solid bourbon character. Selected barrels give it a step up from the standard Benchmark, with a nose of vanilla and oak leading into caramel and honey. The taste follows suit, adding a touch of bubblegum sweetness alongside the oak and honey. The finish brings back the oak and leather, but it's balanced with honey. It's an easy-drinking bourbon that's worth a try as a simple sipper or in your favorite cocktail, especially considering the great value it offers.
