Blood Oath Pact 10 marks a decade of this limited release series, and this year Master Distiller John Rempe double-finished the blend in Cabernet Franc and Merlot casks. Expect a rich, fruit-forward bourbon, where tart raspberries and black pepper mingle with red stone fruits, vanilla, cocoa, and anise. On the nose, find caramel, cherry, tobacco, and smoky oak. The palate delivers cinnamon spice, caramel, tobacco, and oak, transitioning from initial sweetness to dry oak. The medium-warm finish brings back caramel-covered red fruit, tobacco, oak, and a hint of cinnamon. It's a delicious and complex pour!
