The liquid spent an initial 12 years resting in traditional oak casks, allowing the spirit to develop its signature coastal character and gentle peat influence. Subsequently, it was transferred to ex-Sauternes hogsheads for a five-year finish, imparting luscious notes of honey, dried fruits, and a hint of citrus zest.
