Clydeside Stobcross
Morrison Glasgow Distillers
Tasting Notes
Hailing from the banks of the River Clyde, Clydeside Stobcross is a delightful Lowland single malt that captures the essence of Scotland's whisky heritage. Crafted with utmost care, this whisky is a harmonious blend of tradition and modernity. The crystal-clear waters of Loch Katrine and 100% Scottish barley form the foundation of this liquid gold, while the maturation in American oak bourbon casks imparts a distinctively rich character. On the nose, floral notes intertwine with fresh sweetness, hinting at tropical undertones that tantalize the senses. The palate unveils a delightful medley of orchard fruits, complemented by subtle hints of white pepper that add depth and complexity. The finish lingers with a refreshing fruity tone, leaving a lasting impression of quality and craftsmanship. Although without an age statement, the spirit's origins dating back to November 2017 suggest a whisky with remarkable depth and maturity for its age.
