Daftmill's 2011 Summer Batch Release is a true labor of love, crafted with meticulous attention to detail by a family-run farm distillery. This exceptional single malt whisky is a testament to the distillery's unwavering commitment to quality and authenticity. Distilled from a unique variety of barley called Publican, grown and harvested on the farm in 2009, this whisky captures the essence of the land itself. After undergoing a traditional malting process in the summer of 2010, the spirit was carefully matured in 27 first-fill bourbon barrels from Kentucky's Clermont Springs distillery, patiently resting until its bottling in 2023.
