Dalmore 40 Year Old (2022 Release) is a true masterpiece, a symphony of flavors that will leave you breathless. This exquisite single malt whisky embarks on an extraordinary journey, starting its maturation in ex-bourbon casks, before being transferred to Matusalem Oloroso sherry butts. But the story doesn't end there – the liquid is combined with another single malt, initially aged in ex-bourbon casks, followed by a sojourn in Graham's Port Colheita casks from 1970. The two liquids are then blended and allowed to mingle, creating a harmonious union of flavors. The nose is a captivating bouquet of cherries, plums, sultanas, toffee apple, and vanilla pod, enticing you to take a sip.
