Crafted through triple distillation of peated malt, the whisky underwent maturation in a first-fill Jim Beam bourbon barrel before being bottled by That Boutique-y Whisky Company as part of the World of Smoke series. The nose is delicate, with creamy malt and a touch of polished oak, unfolding into vanilla, grilled peach, and smoked wood aromas. On the palate, it's soft and silky, offering notes of butterscotch, flapjack, and toffee popcorn intertwined with cracked peppercorns, a hint of fresh mint, and gently peaty malt. The finish is rich, with oak spice joining sweet peat smoke, accompanied by stewed plums, cooked apples, and toffee, complemented by fiery cinnamon and nutmeg nuances.
