1770 Original Glasgow single malt is a true trailblazer, reviving the ancient whisky tradition of Scotland's largest city after a century-long hiatus. Crafted with utmost care, this limited edition spirit combines the finest Scottish barley with the pristine waters of Loch Katrine. Distilled in copper pot stills affectionately named Tara and Mhairi, it undergoes maturation in first-fill bourbon casks before being treated to a finishing touch in virgin white oak. The aroma tantalizes with notes of dried dark fruits intertwined with tropical undertones, complemented by hints of biscuit, oak, and a refreshing cut grass fragrance. On the palate, a harmonious symphony unfolds, with butterscotch and burnt brown sugar sweetness intermingling with savory cardamom, an abundance of dried fruits, marzipan, honey, and buttery shortbread.
