Tasting Notes
Imagine a journey that takes you back nearly four decades, to a time when the world was a different place. In a tranquil corner of the Scottish Highlands, a single cask of exceptional whisky was filled on the 10th of June, 1982. This precious liquid was destined to undergo a transformative aging process, slowly maturing within the confines of an ex-Oloroso sherry butt. Over the years, the spirit embraced the rich, nuanced flavors imparted by the sherry cask, evolving into a masterpiece of complexity and depth. Finally, after 38 long years of patient slumber, this remarkable whisky was awakened and bottled at a robust 50.1% ABV, yielding a mere 661 precious bottles. Each drop captures the essence of time, carefully crafted and patiently awaited, offering a rare glimpse into the art of whisky-making at its finest.
