Highland Park 21 Year Old - 2023 Release is a delightful symphony of flavors that tantalizes the senses. From the moment you uncork the bottle, a tantalizing aroma of tropical fruits, toasted almonds, freshly grated nutmeg, and floral peat smoke wafts through the air, inviting you to take a sip. On the palate, a harmonious blend of lemon zest, aromatic fenugreek, honey-caramelized apples, cinnamon, and a dusting of cedar-smoked sweet paprika unfolds, creating a complex yet finely balanced experience. As you savor each sip, woody spices linger on the finish, complemented by a subtle hint of citrus oil intertwined with the heather-rich peat smoke. This masterfully crafted single malt Scotch whisky is a result of meticulous selection and marriage of spirits from 36 bourbon hogsheads, first-fill sherry-seasoned European and American oak casks, and Rioja casks, all laid down between 1998 and 2001 by master whisky maker Gordon Motion.
