Known as the Hinch 10 Year Old Sherry Cask Finish, this whiskey takes you on a delightful journey of flavors. The nose greets you with a symphony of ripe orchard fruits, sweet barley sugar, and vanilla complemented by rich, slightly tart red fruit notes. On the palate, you'll discover a delightful blend of sugared malty cereal, nougat, and chocolate-covered marzipan, balanced by dry, fruity sherry, sultana, and a burst of fresh fruit sweetness, with ripe pear and a hint of lychee. The finish lingers with red berries and an earthy vanilla pod essence. This whiskey is initially aged in American oak before undergoing a six-month finish in Oloroso sherry casks from Jerez, adding depth and complexity to its character. Bottled at 43% ABV, it's a part of the Time Collection, celebrating the rich heritage of the Hinch distillery, located near the charming town of Ballynahinch, south of Belfast.
