Tasting Notes
J.A. Baczewski's Whisky takes you on a delightful journey of aromas and flavors that encapsulate the essence of Polish craftsmanship. The nose tantalizingly unveils a delicate dance of fresh hay, gingery sweetness reminiscent of gingersnap biscuits, and a drizzle of caramel and honey-infused sponge cake. On the palate, this blended whisky presents a fresh, green oak character intertwined with baking spices and a touch of grain sweetness. The finish, however, is the true showstopper โ a warming, dry embrace of ginger spice that lingers deliciously. Crafted by marrying malted barley and other grains, this spirit holds its own when mixed with ginger ale or enjoyed neat. The 1782 on the label pays homage to the year the first Baczewski distillery opened its doors on the outskirts of Lviv, now in Ukraine, a testament to the brand's rich heritage.
