The palate delivers almond, dark fruits, leather, and that medicinal Laphroaig peat. The finish is long and spicy, with blackberry, plum, raisin, and molasses notes, ending with seaweed candy, ginger, and salted chocolate. It's a well-balanced dram, offering a good interplay between peat and sherry sweetness that Laphroaig fans will appreciate.
