Laphroaig Select is the distillery's attempt at a more approachable peated whisky. Think of it as Laphroaig-lite, a gentler introduction to Islay's smoky shores. You'll find the familiar peat, but dialed way down, alongside sweeter notes of honey and caramel. It's easy-drinking, a bit subdued, and maybe not complex enough for seasoned peatheads, but a decent starting point for the curious.
