This Linkwood 12 Year Old 2009 Syrah Edition from DS Tayman is a delightful single malt that takes you on a fruity journey. On the palate, those luscious berries and red fruits make a reappearance, joined by robust oak flavors and a hint of candied nuts, creating a harmonious and indulgent experience. Distilled in November 2009 and bottled in January 2022, this splendid whisky spent its dozen years resting in a virgin oak hogshead before a final maturation in a first-fill syrah (shiraz) red wine barrel, imparting its unique character.
