Loch Lomond has crafted a truly exceptional single malt to commemorate The 152nd Open in 2024. This Special Edition whisky boasts a delightful aroma that tantalizes the senses with zesty lemon peels, crisp apples, floral vanilla, orchard blossoms, and juicy pears. Upon taking a sip, you're greeted with a fresh and fruity palate bursting with generous notes of apples, pears, soft apricots, and floral honey. The finish is elegantly balanced, with a hint of oak char, spiced pastries, and delicate smoke lingering on the palate. Crafted under the guidance of golf ambassador Colin Montgomerie, this single malt was initially aged in American oak before being finished in Chardonnay wine casks, resulting in a harmonious blend of honey, blossom, and orchard fruit flavors that capture the essence of Scotland's renowned Royal Troon course, where The Open 2024 will take place.
