Mortlach 14 Year Old, also known as Alexander's Way, is a delightful Scotch whisky that embodies the unique heritage and craftsmanship of the distillery. Matured for 14 years in refill bourbon and sherry casks, this expression offers a captivating aroma that combines the zestiness of lemon curd with the sweetness of upside-down apple cake and the warmth of cinnamon sponge cake, all delicately infused with hints of vanilla cream and spice. On the palate, it unveils a symphony of flavors, with warming spices like ginger, clove, nutmeg, and white pepper taking the lead, complemented by floral notes, dry tea, melted white chocolate with peaches and cream, sweet malt, and earthy oak.
