Aptly named Woodland Candy, it tantalizes the nose with aromas reminiscent of buttery tea cakes, candied tropical fruits, drizzled toffee, and dried berries. On the palate, silky honey and vinous fruits dance together, accompanied by hints of fennel and vanilla, intertwined with creamy malt and rich oak char. The finish is a delightful interplay of clove, green pepper, poached plums, and buttery fudge. This unique expression combines a special four-yeast recipe with maturation in a blend of STR red wine and first-fill bourbon casks, resulting in a harmonious fusion of forest fruits, buttery sweetness, and herbaceous spice notes that truly live up to its enchanting name.
