New Riff 8 Year Rye is a Kentucky straight rye packing a punch at 50% ABV. Aged at least eight years and bottled without chill filtration, this whiskey uses a unique mashbill of 95% rye and 5% malted rye for a spicy character. Expect aromas of caramel, pine, and caraway, leading to a palate with some caramel and rye bread flavors. The finish is woody and spicy, with a strong vanilla note.
