Hailing from the tropical shores of Goa, India, Paul John Brilliance is a remarkable single malt whisky that defies convention. Crafted from locally grown Himalayan barley, this dram boasts a vibrant character shaped by the region's unique climate. The nose greets you with a juicy burst of barley, reminiscent of crunchy Ryvita crackers slathered in salted butter. Notes of cinnamon-dusted red berries and a hint of green apple skin tantalize the senses. On the palate, it's like biting into a chewy caramel and chocolate Chomp Bar, with lively spices and a waxy orange peel adding depth. The finish lingers with a citrusy orange note, while the rye characteristics from the aroma make a bold comeback.
