This Singleton of Dufftown Sunray is a delightful single malt Scotch whisky that beckons with its enticing aroma. The nose evokes a harmonious duet of vanilla and honey, accompanied by the fruity melodies of apple and blackcurrant. As you inhale, the grassy notes of honey intertwine with the dehydrated sweetness of apples, subtly spiced with cinnamon, evoking visions of a delectable strudel. Yet there's more to savor, as the dark syrupy richness of blackcurrant chimes in, adding depth and complexity. On the palate, soft stewed apples caress the taste buds, enveloped in a thick, honeyed texture that lingers delightfully.
