Tamdhu Batch Strength (Batch 7) is a delightful Speyside single malt that tantalizes the senses with its rich, sherried character. The nose is an inviting blend of comforting aromas, reminiscent of a freshly baked bread and butter pudding, with hints of warming spices and roasted nuts. On the palate, the whisky unfurls a tapestry of flavors, from sweet and sticky fruit compote to waves of creamy vanilla, peppery spice, and zesty orange peel notes. The finish lingers with dried fruits, smooth oak, and gentle spice, leaving a lasting impression. Matured exclusively in ex-oloroso sherry casks, many of which are first-fill, this non-chill filtered dram is bottled at a robust 57.5% ABV, allowing a few drops of water to unlock its full potential and reveal a symphony of flavors that will delight sherry-loving whisky enthusiasts.
