With zesty grapefruit and lemon peel aromas mingling with juicy tropical fruits and garden herbs, this unique whisky offers a delightful fusion of flavors. On the palate, crisp green apple notes join the tropical fruit symphony, complemented by biscuity malt, oaken vanilla, and subtle herbaceous hoppy undertones reminiscent of its IPA cask maturation. The finish lingers with silky layers of butterscotch and vanilla, punctuated by a touch of peppercorn warmth. This exceptional single malt is a masterful collaboration between Weetwood Brewery & Distillery, where their passions for beer and whisky converge in a harmonious dance of flavors. Six quarter casks previously housing the brewery's characterful Jester IPA have imparted their hoppy essence into the oak, before being refilled with the distillery's English single malt whisky, resulting in a truly unique and captivating dram.
