With a bold peating level of 78.4 PPM before distillation and a final phenol count of 19.7 PPM, this whisky boasts a robust, smoky core. The maturation in a medley of bourbon, American oak oloroso, and Pedro Ximénez sherry casks imparts delightful layers of complexity. On the nose, it unveils flamed citrus, dried charcoal, soft peat, sawdust, vanilla, and sultanas. The palate is a harmonious blend of meaty peat smoke, balsamic poached fruits, woody spice, and sweet, leathery oak.
