Waterford Arcadian's Gaia 1.1 is a delightful organic Irish single malt whisky that takes you on a sensory journey. The nose greets you with a delightful bouquet of honey, melted butter, and the zesty freshness of orange oil, complemented by a hint of tangy cranberry. On the palate, it's a vibrant explosion of barley notes, underscored by citrusy and fruity undertones, and a growing touch of earthy spice that adds depth and complexity. The finish lingers with notes of dried peels, cedar, spring blossom, and a refreshing menthol coolness. This expression is crafted from Irish barley grown by seven different farmers and matured in a harmonious blend of first-fill American oak, virgin American oak, Vin Doux Naturel, and French oak casks, ensuring a well-rounded and distinct flavor profile.
