This 11-year-old Quartermaster whisky from Whisky Works is a delightful blend that takes you on a sensory journey. The nose greets you with tantalizing aromas of candied ginger, peaches soaked in syrup, and rich plum jam, complemented by hints of mocha. On the palate, it unveils flavors of oily nuts, luscious almond butter, and sweet Medjool dates, intertwined with notes of chocolate raisins. The finish lingers with the delightful taste of orange marmalade and creamy coffee ice cream. This remarkable blend is a result of skillful maturation and finishing, with the grain whisky aged in rum barrels and finished in Pedro Ximénez sherry casks, while the malts were matured in a combination of American white oak and sherry butts.
