From the nose, a delightful array of sherried fruits captivates the senses – juicy dates, luscious figs, and plump sultanas dance harmoniously, accompanied by enticing notes of oaken vanilla and a buttery richness. On the palate, a generous layer of chocolate-coated raisins and succulent stewed berries unfolds, followed by the velvety embrace of crème caramel. As the whisky develops, ancient charred oak and a tingle of warming spice emerge from the depths, adding complexity and depth. The finish lingers with notes of burnt sugar, dried fruits, a hint of nutmeg, and the sweetly sherried embrace of oak.
